National Children's Museum
Roto designed five major exhibition areas for one of the most important children's museum projects in the US in recent years. Slated for a 2013 opening at the National Harbor development in a striking Pelli Clarke Pelli building, the Museum hand-picked Roto from a national search to lead their largest exhibition design program. The project includes a developmentally-rich early learners exhibit, a health exhibit featuring a giant stylized tree and walk-thru child, a performing arts area, and Zen-inspired water play space.
