Children's Museum of Evansville
From the fall of 2004 to summer of 2006, Roto provided complete planning, design, production and installation for this 25,000 square foot children's museum for Indiana's river city. There are four main exhibit galleries, plus a multimedia theater called the "Freedom Gallery" and several free-standing iconic features. "Work Smart" focuses on engineering skill development and the freedom to build and create. "Live Big" provides inquiry into our bodies and promotes the freedom to make choices. "Speak Loud" is the arts area, encouraging the freedom of self-expression. "Quack Factory" combines open-ended water investigation with ball-manipulation and gross-motor activities as it promotes the freedom to explore. Roto also created the new brand identity for this beloved institution.
