AEP (one of the largest electric utilities in the U.S.) hired Roto to design and fabricate a mobile exhibit used to educate the consumer on AEP's new gridSMART technology. The AEP Ohio gridSMART Tour travels throughout the region, demonstrating intelligent meters and the "smart grid" to general public utility customers. The vehicle's exterior serves as a giant billboard for the tour, while the interior features a collection of participatory "interest centers" that demonstrate the AEP Ohio gridSMART program.
